Developed collaboratively with experts, MERNAP addresses ship and port emissions, supports low-emission fuels, and fosters international partnerships. The plan, expected to be finalized in mid-2024, aims to create a sustainable future for Australia’s maritime operations.
Notably, Australia has partnered with Singapore in a $20 million initiative to develop green shipping corridors and advance low-emission technologies, marking a significant step toward global sustainability goals.
